Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 9, 2026
Intzicht ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing your personal data is:
Intzicht BV
Joey Vangaeveren
Hogeweg 267
8200 Sint-Andries (Bruges)
Belgium
Company number (CBE): 1011.392.076
VAT: BE 1011.392.076
Email: joey@intzicht.be
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data:
Contact Form
When you use our contact form, we store:
• your name
• your email address
• your company name and the subject, if you fill them in
• your message
• the page on which you filled in the form, the language, the website you came from and the campaign details from the link (the utm fields and gclid)
• your IP address, only to prevent misuse of the form. It is deleted automatically after 30 days.
Your name, your company name, the subject and the origin details above are also sent to our own BigQuery environment at Google Cloud, so we can follow up which channels bring in enquiries. Your email address and your message are not sent there: they stay in the website database.
Newsletter Subscription
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store:
• your email address
• the date, the language and the page on which you subscribed
• whether you confirmed your subscription, and whether you later unsubscribed
• your IP address, only against misuse, deleted automatically after 30 days
Your subscription only takes effect after you click the confirmation link in our email. As long as you do not, we send you nothing. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works with one click.
Pages that do not exist (404)
If someone opens an address on this site that does not exist, we keep a count of the path, how often it happened and which website the visitor came from. That lets us repair broken links. We store no IP address and no browser details, and visits by search engines and other robots do not count. This list is therefore not personal data.
Analytics Data (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This includes:
• Pages visited
• Time spent on the site
• Device and browser information
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
• Referral source
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. The data is processed in anonymized form and we do not combine it with other personal data.
Anonymous click count (own measurement)
Separately from Google Analytics, this website keeps an anonymous count of which contact buttons are used (WhatsApp, email, the contact button, the demo and the contact form). We only record which button was used, on which page, in which language, where the visitor came from and whether it was a mobile or a desktop device. No cookies are used and no IP address, device details or any other data that could identify a person is stored. This count is therefore not personal data.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
• Contact requests: To respond to your inquiries and provide our services
• Newsletter: To send you updates about new articles and insights (only with your consent)
• Analytics: To improve our website and understand how visitors use it
4. Legal Basis
We process your personal data based on:
• Consent: For newsletter subscriptions and analytics cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
• Legitimate interest: For contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for the following periods:
• Contact form: until your enquiry is resolved, plus a maximum of 2 years for follow-up. Your IP address is deleted after 30 days already. If you ask for erasure, we delete the enquiry completely, including in BigQuery.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. If you do not confirm your subscription, we delete your address automatically after six months.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): 14 months
• Own click count and 404 list: these contain no personal data and are kept as long as they are useful.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
• Right of access: You can request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing: You can request limitation of how we use your data

• Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time
To exercise these rights, contact us at joey@intzicht.be
Would you like us to delete your enquiry or your subscription? Send a message to joey@intzicht.be. We then delete it completely, including in our reporting environment, and let you know when that has been done.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
• Google Analytics: For website analytics (data is processed in the EU/EEA where possible)
• Google Cloud (BigQuery): your name, your company name and the origin details of your enquiry, for our own reporting
